Patroller Bob Lindsteadt has passed away...
Bob became a patroller in 1983- through approx. 2003-2004 He could no longer ski and did not want to continue without the skiing. So he decided to retire from the patrol. He was an OEC Instructor for many many years. When emails & computers started rolling in the 80's, Bob loved them. He was very helpful in updating our patrol. He made forms, procedures, and whatever else we needed. He also helped out at our annual Ski Swap, getting radio coverage and putting flyers all over town! He was also a member of the Otsego County Ambulance Corporation which was staffed by the Otsego County Ambulance Volunteers- ( which is now Otsego County EMS/Rescue ). As such he taught Advanced first aid courses, and worked on the ambulance as a volunteer. He was committed to the Gaylord Community and our ski patrol and will be missed by all that knew him. He was 82 years old when he passed away.
